A bedroom can feel perfectly comfortable during the day and noticeably more humid after you go to bed.
The air may feel heavy. Bedding can feel slightly damp. Windows may fog by morning. You might wake up feeling warm even though the thermostat has not changed.

Watch the windows in the morning
Windows often reveal an overnight humidity problem before anything else does.
If the inside surface is wet or fogged every morning, especially around the edges, moisture is condensing on the cold glass.
